Hello lovely people who still bother to read my garbage (Yes I’m in one of those self-conscious, self-hatred moods but whatever).



So I’m currently downloading Arma 2, Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead and Cryostasis after seeing a brilliant youtube series done by an absolute bro by the name of CHKilroy, this youtube series is called “The Days Ahead”.

If you haven’t seen any of CHKilroy’s work, (I know I say this a lot) I highly recommend going through his videos, his work was is what inspired me to actually start recording my own gameplay… unsuccessfully.

Anyway, so while downloading I though I’d spend the time updating you on what’s going on around the world of videogaming and what I’m doing personally.

First of all, the big news.
Australia’s R18+ rating for videogames has been approved by all parties, passed Parliament and will be ready to be implemented by January 1st 2013.
I wish I could write more about it but considering this is still in early stages, despite being 10 years in the works, there isn’t much news on how each state will handle the legislation.

Moving onto the less interesting news, the popular videogame retailer “GAME” is currently going out of business and is selling its games dirt-cheap… actually thats still pretty big news. GO THERE, BUY THEIR GAMES!

Last of all, South Korea is making it illegal to sell videogame content for dosh, the punishment for doing so being a whopping maximum $45k fine along with jail time.

Ok, enough news.
Time to channel my inner narcissist and talk about what I’ve been doing.
Like normal, I’ve been juggling myself between four games:
-Hitman: Blood Money.
-Diablo 3.
-Dark Souls.
-Persona 4. 
And considering 2 of those games are console based and one of the games barely runs on my PC as it is, I haven’t been recording and have been considering giving up on my Youtube channel for a year (or until I get better equipment), with that said however, I will TRY to release more blog posts on a weekly basis, maybe even switch it up to Vlogs or something to save your eyes from tiny text.
I strive on feedback, it reminds me I’m not writing a newspaper for a ghost town, so if you have any recommendations on my Blog, YouTube page or just have suggestions for topics to cover, please contact me <3
